As a program under Spartanburg County First Steps, Quality Counts focuses on creating high-quality learning environments for children from birth to age five. The program supports child care providers through professional development, mentorship, coaching, and nationally recognized assessments like CLASS, ECERS-3, and ITERS-3.
The South Carolina Child Care Scholarship Program aims to make child care more affordable for families. It does so by covering all or part of child care provider payments directly, enabling parents to work, attend school, or participate in training programs.
A social/emotional intelligence system for classroom management. A system that empowers the teacher and the children to embrace self-regulation. Based on current brain research, child development, and developmentally appropriate practice. Utilizes challenging behavior as a teachable moment.
A creative curriculum is one in which students learn concepts, terms, and ideas taught using creative strategies. This engages the learners and encourages self-discovery and continued interest. Students are hooked to the content and find out means to prolong their learning. It’s an interdisciplinary curriculum that embeds components for different parts of your day, including math and literacy, all driven through play.

A comprehensive, multi-sport enrichment program designed for children aged 18 months to 12 years. Amazing Athletes empowers kids by teaching skills from 10 different sports in a fun, non-competitive, and educational environment. Tailored classes for various age groups, including toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children. Focus on motor skills, muscle identification, nutrition education, and physical fitness.
This is offered once a week for an additional price.
Gymnastics is hosted through Spartanburg Gymnastics with their Coach Sheri, all centers have the same coach.
